白晋湘，吉首大学原党委书记，教授，博士生导师。
主要从事民族体育和山寨经济研究，主持国家社科基金重大、重点、一般和青年课题4项，著有7部著作。在《体育科学》和《农业经济问题》等学术刊物上发表学术论文76篇。兼任教育部全国高校体育教学指导委员会委员，中国体育管理学会副主任委员，北京大学体育科学研究所专家，湖南省自然科学基金委员会委员。获国务院特殊津贴，人事部“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选，教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”人选，国家教学团队带头人，湖南省首届高校教学名师。

Professor Bai is a distinguished scholar specializing in ethnic sports and rural economy studies. He has led four major National Social Science Foundation projects and authored seven academic books, publishing over 70 papers in top journals like Sports Science and Issues in Agricultural Economy.
He serves as a member of the National College Sports Teaching Guidance Committee (Ministry of Education), deputy director of the Chinese Sports Management Society, and expert at Peking University’s Sports Science Research Institute. He is also a member of the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation Committee.
His honors include the State Council Special Allowance, recognition under the Ministry of Personnel’s "New Century Talents Project," and Ministry of Education’s "New Century Excellent Talents Program." He is a national teaching leader and Hunan Province’s first Higher Education Teaching Master.
