段锐，华南师范大学体育科学学院院长，教授、博士生导师、“珠江学者”特聘教授。
美国印第安那大学医学院生理学博士；约翰·霍普金斯大学分子与遗传学博士后。2017年全职回到华南师范大学体育科学学院组建运动再生医学实验室，现为华南师范大学教授、教育部青年“长江学者”，任体育科学学院院长、国务院学位委员会第八届学科评议组（体育学组）成员等职务。专注于运动再生修复和运动代际遗传效应方面的研究，先后获得过美国心脏学会、中国国家自然科学基金等多项科研资助。

Professor Duan holds a Ph.D. in Physiology from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed postdoctoral training at Johns Hopkins University in Molecular and Genetic Sciences. A "Changjiang Scholar" and "Pearl River Scholar," he returned to South China Normal University in 2017 to establish the Laboratory of Exercise Regenerative Medicine.
He currently serves as Dean of the School of Physical Education Science and sits on the Eighth Discipline Review Group of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee. His research focuses on skeletal muscle regeneration and the intergenerational genetic effects of exercise. Professor Duan has received multiple grants from the American Heart Association and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
