Prof. Dr. Richard Bailey is Deputy Dean of Research at UCSI University's school of Social Sciences and Humanities. He holds a PhD in Philosophy of Education from the University of Sunderland, an MA in Philosophy of Mental Health from the University of Central Lancashire, and a BEd in Health and Movement studies (CNAA, UK). His research focuses on sustainable and healthy sports activities, mental health, martial arts, and international comparative education. He has led notable projects such as Traditional Martial Arts for All and Promoting Active cities, both supported by ERASMUS+ funding from the European Union.
