Peng Xiyang, Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the College of Physical Education, Hunan Normal University. Studied at the National University of Singapore as a jointly-trained Ph.D. student sponsored by the China Scholarship Council, and later engaged in postdoctoral research in Human Movement Science. Recognized as a Young Leading Teacher in Hunan Province and a “Shicheng Talent” of Hunan Normal University.


She has taken the lead on six national/provincial projects, including one from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one from the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation, a First-Class Grant from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, a China Scholarship Council fellowship, a teaching-reform project of Hunan Provincial Colleges and Universities, and an Outstanding Youth Project of the Hunan Provincial Department of Education. She has also participated in eight National Natural Science Foundation projects. Under her supervision, six national/provincial/university-level innovation and entrepreneurship training programs for undergraduates have been completed, two of which received “Excellent” ratings upon final evaluation.


She has authored more than 30 SCI/CSCD-indexed journal articles, published one monograph, and holds one national utility-model patent. She serves as a council member of the Hunan Physiological Science Association and the Hunan Disabled Persons’ Sports Association. She is a core member of the Hunan Provincial University Science and Technology Innovation Team for “Exercise and Physical Fitness Promotion,” as well as a key participant in the Hunan Provincial Key R&D Program “Research and Application of Key Techniques and Methods to Promote Physical Fitness in Middle-School Students through Exercise.”
