Associate Professor, University of Seville, Spain
Prof. Dr. Francis Ries is Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Education and sports at the University of Seville. With a background in secondary school teaching in Spain and Luxembourg, he transitioned to academia in 2006 and earned his PhD in 2009. His research focuses on physical activity and mental health, physical education teacher training, and health-enhancing physical activity. He has published extensively and led several Erasmus+ projects. He currently heads the SPAMP research group and serves as Director of Publications on the CEREPS Executive Board. His ongoing collaborations span Malaysia, Indonesia, and Luxembourg.
